Our claim to fame, in addition to having candidates at the ready is that we can find suppliers FAST. Here are just a few examples of possible supplier candidates that were NOT in our network at the time.
- A Texas OEM needed a neighboring supplier for custom aluminum extrusions. In a matter of days we found an excellent and qualified fit within a few hundred miles, which is just next door in Texas.
- A customer needed a source for exotic gasket seals. We were able to find one of the very few suppliers of this specific type of material within 2 days of the request.
- We supplied a prospective customer domestic die casters for a zinc product.
- Hard chrome plating was needed; we now have an excellent supplier and found them very quickly after this came to our attention.
- Compression molded rubber motor mounts were another item where the customer needed a supplier with particular characteristics. We found a suitable candidate within days.
- Customer needed fabricated pieces of an assembly dip molded. We had 3 competing candidates the day of the requirement, and one won the business with very good terms.
- A prospective customer has requested several foundry items specific to he railroad industry. We have a source for such castings with decades of experience, so we were able to supply options immediately.
- We have prior experience with medical devices, so when ISO 13485 certified suppliers are needed, we have a storehouse of prior knowledge for such requests and several possible companies in and out of our network.
In 10 years we have been unable to find a suitable supplier candidate only once. And this one is still underway, so we may eventually be successful.
